P&S: Brush or comb...?

I use a "paddle" brush because I have thick, wavy, longish hair & most combs break off in my hair. If by chance I can find a comb that can successfully survive the treacherous hike of my hair I still don't use it because it takes forever whereas my "paddle" brush only takes a few minutes, if that. What about you?
