Need to be emancipated in New York State?

I've lived with a friend for 6 months. Im 17.6 years old, 18 in September 2011. I support myself financially. I control my medical stuff, school stuff, etc. I am responsible for myself,. Have a bank account on my own. I am legally allowed to live wherever i want and with whom i want according to my school and police. however, i need to be 100% unattached to my "legal" gaurdian because conflicts of financial interest are holding me back BIG TIME. i wont be 18 for 5 MONTHS and that is NOT ok time to have my "legal" gaurdian in the background, when i have supported myself for almost 7 months. SO, I need a loophole or SOMETHING that can get me custody of myself, emancipate myself, or make it so im not legally attached to the "legal" gaurdian. dad is dead, so mother is the issue. i have no other family by blood, so i need this over with. NOW. there are almost 30 million or more people in this state, SOMEONE must have figured out a way to do it, if not im suing NY.
