My bread machine pan isn't to my satisfaction?

I would like to use my bread machine to mix my bread then transfer the dough to a 8x4 loaf pan. The pan that comes with the machine is a 9x5. Is it possible to mix the dough in the pan that came with the machine then dump the dough into a loaf pan and put it in the bottom on the machine and bake it? This way I would not get holes in the bottom of my bread from the paddles. I don't see why it wouldn't work. Just checking to see if anyone has ever done it. Thanks
